3D-printing milestone at CERN

Here is an article in the CERN Courier journal about 3D printing of plastic scintillators, the use of which is important for experiments in high-energy physics. Our institute, together with other participants of "The 3DET" (3D printed detector) collaboration such as CERN, ETH Zurich and the School of Management and Engineering Vaud, is actively involved in the implementation of additive manufacturing methods to simplify production and assembly processes.
